Mexico Resumes Imports

However, no official timetable for the resumption of trade has been made available.<br />n<br />nAg Secretary Mike Johanns was quoted as saying "Mexico's decision to further open its market to U.S. beef is a testament to the safety of U.S. beef and a clear expression of confidence in the U.S. safeguards to prevent <acronym title="Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy">BSE</acronym> (bovine spongiform encephalography).
