Instead of pulling the calf off the cow and separating the two, they put this fancy nose jewelry on which keeps the calf from nursing the cow and more "naturally" weans the calf. The claim is that this is less stressful on the calf and the cow. I don't know how well it works or not. It's interesting to see though. Taken 10/22/2007.</center>
