Heat

I hate hot weather!! It is just too hot if you ask me. The hired man asked me what he was supposed to do today and I lined out some things for him and told him "when it gets too hot quit and go home, nothing is that pressing to get heat stroke over." I followed the same advice.
n
nAll the barley hay is baled and I planned on getting some stacking done. Jumped on the stacker this morning and went to start stacking and it wouldn't pickup any bales. After tearing the hydraulics apart I found the problem and it was off to Billings to get parts. Four hours later when I get home it's time to put the stacker back together. Of course the cool morning hours are gone and I get to put it back together in the sun and heat. By the time I am done it is 3:00 pm and way to hot to stack now.
n
nOne time I tried to stack in really hot weather on a stubble field and did I learn my lesson. Never take a gasoline powered engine into a stubble field in hot weather. Luckily I caught the fire while it was small and it didn't get out of control. I will try to stack a while tomorrow before it gets too hot.
n
nBTW, did I mention, I hate hot weather!!
n
nWhat dreadful hot weather we have! It keeps me in a continual state of inelegance. Jane Austen
