One person kicks another person because he doesn't agree with their political views. It turns out the kickee is a college student and the kicker is a college teacher visiting the college. The teacher issued an apology.
n
n
"I acted entirely inappropriately by kicking you, giving vent to a thoughtless knee-jerk political reaction that should never have happened," she wrote. "Before the incident, I did not know you and that you are a Fort Lewis student."

n
nSo it would have been okay to kick them if the person wasn't a student? That's the way it sounds to me. Not much of an apology.
n
nApology is only egotism wrong side out. Oliver Wendell Holmes
