Montana Legislature alert. (I'll add this to all post that are very strictly about the Legislature for those not interested.)
With the Montana Legislature in session I have been paging through the bills proposed and a few caught my eye. Here is one.

Security freeze authority for consumer credit reports
Somebody with more knowledge about this than me might take exception to this but I think this is a good idea. Identity theft is a major problem in society and if a person has a freeze on their credit it is less likely to happen. This looks like a good idea to me and something to support.
Assigned to the Senate Business, Labor, and Economic Affairs Committee. No hearing date set at this time.
