Two Weeks Old



The new chicks at two weeks old. My Darling Wife says they are at the ugly stage. Far be it from me to argue with her. Taken 5/21/2007.

Nothing against the Missus, but is there ever a time when chickens aren't ugly? I mean, other than when they're battered, fried, and waiting on a plate :-)

Even "battered, fried, and waiting on a plate" they aren't real pretty. The only good thing about chickens is the eggs. The Incredible Edible Egg.

Hold on there a minute Sam, from the looks of things, there is a couple of politicians hiding in there with the chicks!

Better look em over real close, don't want to effect the hen house.

That is the problem. Chicks grow into chickens, kittens become cats, babies turn into people. Cute just doesn't last!
