What do we hear, "but he did it so I can too!!!" as he runs off to the corner whining and pouting.
Schweitzer: Racicot made budget change
Now I wasn't bloging at the time or had access to news so I don't particularly remember this incident but there is a question my wife asks my kids all the time, "Just because everybody else jumps off a cliff does that mean you should too?"
You do have to remember that with term limits this is a different bunch of Legislators that might see things in a little different light than those in 1995.
Whining is like chalk scratching on a blackboard for most parents. Nancy Samalin

I know other 3rd generation Montana ranchers but that doesn't mean that I like them, agree with them or think they should be Governor.
I disagree with the statement that this was the " best session in years for Ag." If you only look at the surface you might agree but if you really study all the issues that "were good to ag" you will see that they aren't so good. The reason I say that is because the government is either forcing people to do things against their will or will cause a ripple affect that will be harmful to the Montana economy as a whole even while it might benifit Ag.
I have mentioned that I appreciate his efforts to hold taxes down, I do give credit where credit is do, but that doesn't mean I agree with him. I have a basic philosophical difference with him. The Governor believes that the government knows what is best for us and will tell us what to do whether we like it or not and I believe in the freedom to make our own decisions, right or wrong, and to deal with the consequences there of. He wants to get in the middle of your business and tell you what to do and I believe the government should stay out of my way so that I can do business.
In short I feel his approach to the function of government is wrong and I will point it out at every turn, even if he is a 3rd generation Montanan.
