I am real happy about the moisture we have been getting but is it ever going to warm up? All that moisture doesn't grow much grass with the tempartures like they are. I took a generator to town today and heard the sugar beets were up and with the freezing tempartures coming up more than likely they will all get froze to nothing and then they will have to replant.
WHERE IS THE WARM TEMPARTURES!!!!

Remember, we had the warm weather back with the dry in Feb. I can pinpoint the current problem, though. On a road trip the other day, the boss of this place bought a new straw hat......the wind has blown or it has rained or snowed every hour since the purchase!

Maybe you need to start wishing for the opposite of what you need/want?

28 degrees, heavy frost and a skiff of snow. Doesn't look good for little sugar beets. Doesn't affect us directly but most of the neighbors are heavily invested in beets.

The warm temperatures are in Texas. High today of 90 in Dallas. As far as I am concerned you can have the warm temps! I wouldn't mind some of your's once in a while! We won't see 70 degree days now until after Thanksgiving. As usual we have 3 months of something that is supposed to pass as winter and 9 months of summer...no fall, no spring.
