Have you ever had one of those really strange phone calls from family members that confuse you? I did last night and I am still trying to figure it out. What did she want? What did I say wrong that she hung up so suddenly? I admit that I sometimes don't communicate real clearly but usually can figure things out. I guess I will have to call back today to figure it out, if that's possible.

has said something rude or insensitive. Years ago, I told my mom via
phone that my husband and I were hoping to have a third child
someday. We are both good parents and could afford it but my mom said,
"I don't think ya'll need to have any more kids, do you?" I didn't
speak to her for months.
And Nanc', I had a very similar phone conversation with my mom - with even worse results...
