A little girl came home from Sunday School one day and informed her mother, "Jesus was from Sweden."
The mother asked her, "Jesus was the son of David which would make him Jewish."
The little girl responded, "I know he's from Sweden, my Sunday School teacher told us so."
"What exactly did this teacher tell you" the mom responded.
"She taught us a song and it goes like this," responded the girl.
"Away in a manger no room for a bed.
The little Lord Jesus laid down his Swede head."
It has always surprised me how little attention philosophers have paid to humor, since it is a more significant process of mind than reason. Reason can only sort out perceptions, but the humor process is involved in changing them. Edward de Bono
