It's really beginning to look like there will not be a white Christmas this year. How disgusting. We really need the moisture. The National Weather Service has a web page now that gives the probability of a white Christmas for the entire US. Pretty interesting to look out. Hopefully it's right and we will get some snow before Christmas. My particular area has a 61-75% chance. Sure seems like it should be higher but I won't argue.
Christmas is not a time nor a season, but a state of mind. To cherish peace and goodwill, to be plenteous in mercy, is to have the real spirit of Christmas. Calvin Coolidge

We actually got some white yesterday and with it some COOL this morning. Seven degrees outside! But the forcast is for near 50 tomorrow so the white won't last long. It will be mud. One reason it is hard work keeping house on a farm.

Our son in LA called and left us a machine message on Saturday saying it was 80 degrees there, and he was looking forward to the snow when he arrives this saturday night. Guess I better break it to him that we will probably have to drive a bit to see it. I will be going to Bozeman for a couple days later this week. The Bozeman pass is dry but has a little white around it. www.bozemanchronicle.com has a webcam site that I enjoy checking from time to time. Kind of fun to get a current picture of pass conditions real time. I don't know how to link sites to this blog yet.
