Because of the Florida experience, armies of lawyers for both major parties are ready to fight over every issue in a tight election.
How depressing. Fights after the election about who won.
There's another danger to watch out for on Nov. 2, the report warns - a shortage of well-trained poll workers, who must deal with new technology and disputes over voter identification.
Well-trained poll workers? I would be happy with poll workers that can speak coherently and have the ability to read and write. That is exactly why I early vote myself. Visiting with the gal in charge of elections in my county, a old school chum, she told me it's the best she can find and that most people in my district early vote for that reason. I don't know what the solution is, maybe better pay for the election judges, but it does create problems.
