Big Sky Country, land of wide open spaces, cowboys, abundant wildlife and now diamonds. I never knew the geology was right for there to be diamonds in Montana. Now that I think about it though it shouldn't suprise me. The question is whether there is going to be an actual dimond mine or is it a Chimera? Then I would be curious to know more about the process of mining diamonds? We in Montana are on path to defeat cyanide leach mining for gold again, and I wonder if diamond mining has the same potential to be harmful to the enviroment as gold mining could be? Time will tell.
If you don't like something change it; if you can't change it, change the way you think about it. Mary Engelbreit

If I recall correctly (a spotty proposition), a 'good' diamond mine results in a carat of diamonds per ton of excavation.
