Never particularly thought I would agree with Britons about anything but now I do. Spiders scare the tar out of me. It still makes my kids giggle when I call them to git rid of a spider for me. I personally see nothing funny about it.

I'm not going to tease you or try to tell you not to be afraid, but try to realize that spiders are actually pretty useful, what with all the assorted bugs and such they eat. Have you ever read up about them?

I don't like spiders either. They can live but they best hide from me if they are serious about it!

A couple of years ago I left a web above the dryer for a while, figuring the occupant(s) would take care of some flies. Until I noticed it was a mama black widow & babies. They're still better than scorpions and rattlesnakes, though.
