People want to live "in the country" but don't want to put up with the things that go along with country life. Thier answer, make the farmers change the way they do things. Yea, makes a lot of sense. Drive them out of buisness for your convienience. America doesn't need to grow food, we don't eat around here. Let's buy all our food from overseas like we do our electronics and then wonder what happened to our family farmers.

and was overwhelmed with the smell of the feedlot next door. People come to visit me
in Laurel, and gasp at the odor of the refinery that I have come to accept (not without
difficulty, I must add). But nothing is quite as bad as sitting in a five or six lane
highway in the middle of a big city waiting for the traffic to move - the exhaust is
so much worse than manure or even the refinery.
