THE GRASS IS GROWING!!!!! I can hear it.
After 2 inches of rain and nice temeratures I can hear the grass growing. Can you? It is such a nice sound. The beginnings of next years grass crop. How exciting after this horrible year.

But I tell you, I can hear it, too. It's there. A warm sound, not like the crackling that you hear from the dry stuff. And in the fall, I can smell the winter coming, too. Just before nightfall, there's a scent in the air that means it's fall, no longer summer. Stop and smell the air and enjoy.
