I received this tribute to my father and wanted to share it.
HE LIVED ON A RANCH IN MONTANA
DOING THE THINGS HE LOVED
WHILE HELPING A NEIGHBOR WITH BRANDING
HE GOT A CALL FROM ABOVE
I'VE PREPARED A PLACE FOR YOU
I NEED YOU UP HERE WITH ME
FROM ALL YOU TRIALS AND SORROWS
I HAVE DECIDED IT'S TIME TO SET YOU FREE
NO LONGER TO RIDE THE PRARIE
NO LONGER TO ROPE AND BRAND
YOUR NEW HOME IN HEAVEN IS READY
ACCORDING TO GOD'S MASTER PLAN
YOUR LOVED ONE'S ARE WAITING TO GREET YOU
AT THE REUNION ABOVE IN THE SKY
THOSE LEFT BEHIND WILL MISS YOU
BUT I WANT THEM TO KNOW YOU DID NOT DIE
MY SON, JESUS GAVE HIS LIFE FOR YOU

Sir, I enjoy your post and beautiful photos. My father died 15 years ago, able to put the tractor in park but it was running when the neighbor found him. Many came to me and told me how lucky that he was doing what he loved but that was little comfort to me. Over the years as I have continued my work in the Medical field I have come to understand more. I simply tell people that God knows your time. When your job is done he will call you home. This is our promise and treasure. Your loving father's job was done on earth. The promise of our heavenly father is you will see him again. Know that your dad lives on in you and your children. Honor his memory by living the life he wanted for you; God bless
