In this photo the background is fuzzy while up near the focus is sharp. In your photo of the haybale the other day the hay is in sharp focus as well as the brush along the creek way off yonder. Are both taken with the same lens?

They are both taken with the same camera. A Canon SD800. I did use the macro setting on this one. It worked out well.
