Those look good enough to eat. My mother grew up in Eastern Montana near what eventually became Bell Creek. In her 60's she came into some of the oil royalties from there. After she cleared the debt on her house, she found and planted wild plums, buffalo berries and chokecherries in her back yard. She made lots and lots of jelly without having to scrounge for the fruit. She is well past 90 now and lives in senior housing (but on her own) and still tells lots of stories about picking the wild fruit as a girl.
