Does anybody out there know why the Montana Department of Health and Human Services felt it necessary to call me 3 times between 9:30 and 10:00 at night? Each time I asked them to leave me alone and not to bother me again and I get more calls. If the State of Montana wants to talk to me why can't they call at a decent time instead of 10:00 at night? That seems indecently late to be contacting someone. Then don't they respect the request to leave you alone and not contact you? I was so damn mad after the 3rd one called me I couldn't speak. I tried to get out of her why she was violating my privacy but I couldn't understand her. What, are they outsourcing this to India? That's what she sounded like. I just want the assholes to leave me alone. Any ideas how to do this?

You can put your phone number on the national Do Not Call List https://www.donotcall.gov/default.aspx
If they continue to call, you can then report them to the National Do Not Call Registry and the fines for the company are HEFTY.

For example, at least nine states that I am aware of use a call center in Texas for all calls relating to Child Support Enforcement. Having had to deal with these calls, I can tell you for personal experience that English is NOT the native language for the three people I had to talk to.
I also know of at least four other agencies that have gone to call center type outsourcing outfits.
People calling my house at 10:00 are just asking for a butt chewing...
