I note that before the election one of the many things I read on left facing blogs was vote fraud and how they were expecting it during the election. They pointed at the last Presidential election as proof of this. Now that they won big, why haven't we heard anything about voting fraud? Why is it when the Republicans lose they accept it and go on but when Democrats lose they look for an excuse and lately used voter fraud as their excuse? This says something in and of itself if you ask me.
If you have time to whine and complain about something then you have the time to do something about it. Anthony J. D'Angelo

My sister in NH has worked incredibly hard on getting States to provide a paper trail for ballots. Her first comment when she heard the Dems were ahead? "Crap, now people will stop caring about cleaning up the voting machines." She will continue her battle for a paper trail. Not everyone has stopped looking.
I wanted to respond to my last entry. In my opinion, the constant bombardment of negative advertising has turned many people away from politics. I would like to see every candidate have equal access to television, radio and debate time. Remove the fundraising aspect and run races based on issues. I think more people would tune in and pay attention. Spending has gotten out of control.
One last point- I run the scorebook at Lady Griz basketball games. Yesterday, UM played MSU-Billings. After the game, I saw a bus from Hardin that had, "Sarpy" bus services or transportation written on the side. I walked up to the bus driver and said, "Are you Sarpy Sam?" He wasn't but I'm sure you know him!
