Oh is it dry. I don't know when the last time it rained around here was, but it was too long ago. The fire danger is very highg and I am concerned about it. I see there is a Red Flag Warning out for my area so I will worry myself sick today over the thunderstorms they are predicting.
There is a fire burning up near Columbus and the length and breadth of that one make me worry if one gets going here.
Crews see progress on fire
Only time will tell I guess, but I'm tired of this hot, dry weather. Over 95 degrees and no rain day in and day out is the forecast.
I've always been good at thinking, I'm not very good at this, but I'm trying my best, but don't worry about it! Imelda Staunton

I talked to my brother last night. He has a place 50 miles SW of Wichita, KS and he said many of the same things you are saying here -- so terribly dry. I wish rain for everyone who needs it!

I'm south of the Milk (Glasgow area)- radio said it was 90 degrees at 8AM this morning- quit swathing at 10 when it hit 95...They are predicting it will get to 105 today...Definitely not good for grass, man, or beast....
