Woman giving away 35K books
BUTTE -- A local woman is leaving town and offering her collection of 35,000 books free to any charity willing to haul them off her property.
I am an avid reader and am always re-reading books because I can't afford to buy enough to keep me occupied. People give me a bad time about re-reading books, it's not new and you know how it ends they say, but I have to do something, not having a book to read is a sin you know. An infusion of books like that ought to yield some that I would want to read. But, I don't meet the conditions. Damn the bad luck.
If one cannot enjoy reading a book over and over again, there is no use in reading it at all. Oscar Wilde

What do you like to read?
What do you like to read? I have hundreds of books-& it is getting kind of silly--I loath Harlequin Romance, & tend to lean toward: Tom Clancey, Jeffrey Deaver, James Patterson, & some Stephen King, etc.
I tend to like mystery-suspense-action.
However my some of my favorites are: the James Herriot series about being a vet, & Robert Tannenbaum.
My zip code is 69334--I would be happy to send you a box of book if you would pay the shipping for them. Let me know.
