The bison skull design won. I am glad for that, that is the one I liked. The bison skull has a long tradition as a symbol in Montana, starting with C.M. Russell, and I think it displays well on the coin. The supporters of buffalo roaming free in Montana infecting cattle with Brucellosis might not like the image, they will say it just represents Montana's blood lust to kill all the bison, but they just need to get over themselves. Tradition is tradition and the symbol has tradition behind it.

Right on, Sam -- I'm glad that it won, too.
