Nice shot of the beautiful prickly pear blossoms. Is your soil sandy there? The surface of the soil appears hard in the photo.

Glad you stopped by. Thier are places that are sandy and places that aren't. This particular place is sandy and the cactus is growing in a cut where the road runs.
