A bale of wool valued at more than a million dollars. This is astounding to me. I'm sure the few remaining sheep producers in our country would like to see that kind of price for wool. Nobody get any bright ideas, I WILL NOT RAISE SHEEP. I had an old neighbor lady a few years ago that raised a few sheep. She got so old and feeble I would have to help here some with her sheep. That was enough for me, they stink and are stupid, not that cattle are much better in those regards, but that was enough working with sheep for me. Never again.
I once complained to my father that I didn't seem to be able to do things the same way other people did. Dad's advice? 'Margo, don't be a sheep. People hate sheep. They eat sheep.' Margo Kaufman
