Shelter



The Heifers and their calves that are back to their home are using this rock formation for shelter from the nasty wind and cold weather nature is inflicting on us right now. This calf was loath to come out of the shelter of the rocks with his mom to feed. I can't blame him.

Looks like a good place to bed down. I bet it is nice in summertime too. Lovely spot.

Hope the little guys are doing okay in this cold front. And you too, Sam. Calving and cold fronts seem to go together though.
The picture of the wind and snow swept mountains was great. Really got a good one!
