Snow

We got another taste of winter yesterday and last night. Dave was wondering how much and when I wandered out this morning I would say 6 inches or a little more with 12 inch drifts where I looked. It could be a little more, hard to tell in the dark and it's still snowing lightly this morning.

Here are a couple of pictures from yesterday morning feeding the two-year olds.





With all the snow I might have to start feeding the cows a little. I will make that decision in a few days but one things for sure, this snow is here to stay. Not like the others that have melted off, this one won't melt off until spring thaw. Winter is truly here.

I hate to say it but I think you are right. Here, there was a slushy mess that froze under the snow so it is really scary to go out in it. However, the boss is out of commission so I am on my way.

Thanks for the pics. I do so enjoy reading about the ranch life (used to live on one)...a wonderful life even though lots of hard work. The two year olds look good!!!!!

Nice photos, as usual. We had very cold temps today, and it might snow tonight. I've had company for a few days, and now I'm worried about how driving home will be.
