Finally finished tying strings around all of the first cutting yesterday. I still have a little stacking to do so it's not in the field but that should be done tomorrow. What little second cutting there is I will start on Monday. There isn't very much so it should go pretty quick.
All these fires around the areas really have me worried. As tall as the grass is and as dry as it's getting with the warm temperatures are if a fire were to get started around here it would be hell to stop. Not much I can do about it but keep vigilant to catch them while their small and pray.

The cattle streaming in towards the corral during my branding on Saturday. It made for quite a beautiful sight. The only problem was that the 8 wrestlers I hired failed to show up so the crew was a little short. We got them done though. Taken 5/19/2007.
