Oh was it hot yesterday. Supposed to be hot again today (>100). Getting some haying done but it is miserable. I went through two gallons of water yesterday trying to keep hydrated.
We are probable about halfway done haying now. We will commence cutting down the hay on Sarpy Creek side now, have been working in Tullock creek up till now, so we are winning. The hay is getting awful ripe but it's better feed than a snowball come winter time so we press on.
We opened the gates earlier this week so the cows can move to fresh pasture. They have so much grass now they don't know what to do. They have been spending most of their time chasing cow candy, at least that is the way they act about it.
I had some pictures of the hay barley but I don't have time to find them now. Busy, busy, busy, talk later.
Busy hands are never in want. Chinese proverb
