Lots of Grass
I was up driving around checking the yearlings out in preparation for moving them today. I couldn't believe the grass up there.
I've had these yearlings in this pasture since the first of May and just look at the grass. It looks like there hasn't been any cattle in there at all. Sure a nice change from the last 7 or 8 years, that's for sure.
Here is some of the cows and calves. We will shortly be moving them to fresh pasture also. Still lots of grass left in this pasture too.

Gee Sam, it's obvious rain is a good thing for the grass so why don't you order it more often than every seven years?

The cows/calves look pretty satisfied don't they? This regular scheduling of rain is doing me good, too, and I don't even eat grass.

The rain is wonderful. Made a drive over the Big Horns today and it was as pretty as I have ever seen it. We would have preferred to miss out on the hail the other day but I guess you can't have everything.
