I can't believe how green it is. Normally we would wait until the hay is a little more mature but the fields we are starting on have quite a bit of cheat grass in them and I want to get them early.
The horses looked at the operation and really wondered what we were up to.
The horses are even looking good.
We cut down around 40 acres today to get started. Only 800 acres more to go. It will take a while.
Time present and time past
